At the moment of capture the app embeds the timestamp, the GPS position and the compass bearing into the recording itself. Every clip carries a verifiable origin; manipulated or second-hand material has no way in.

Every recording lands on the map exactly where it was taken, pointing where the camera pointed. Filter by time and place, follow the compass live as a video plays, and compare perspectives of the same moment.

A recording can stand on its own, or join an event: everything captured at the same place and moment gathers into one network. Checking in from the app puts you there too, with or without a recording.

What you can do
Everything is built around the event.
Create an event before you leave or the moment you arrive. Name it, place it, and it starts collecting: every recording made inside it, every person who checks in.
A public event is open. Anyone can follow it as it fills, and compare what different people recorded from different positions at the same moment.
A private event is closed. You choose its audience member by member, and nothing inside it is visible to anyone else. You can widen it later; you can never widen it by accident.
Your own recordings stay in one gallery, ordered by time and place, each one carrying its bearing. Filter it, open any clip at full length, and see exactly where it sits on the map. Nothing is re-encoded, and nothing leaves the app unless you send it.

Why events, not feeds
3DIN separates the people who were there from everyone talking about it. A single "I am here" signal places a person at an event even without a recording; everyone who records becomes part of that event's network the moment they press the button. There is no need to form a group after the fact, the event itself connects its participants, and no intermediary gets a chance to alter the original information on its way to you.
Open any recording and the compass moves with it. The bearing in the corner is the bearing the camera held at that second, not an average and not a guess.

Where the directions overlap, more than one person saw it.
Five people stood on the edges of one square and pointed their cameras at the middle of it. Bearing is what turns five separate clips into one corroborated moment.

Around the raw material, groups do the careful work: a private event gathers its recordings in one place, where members and the group leader review, annotate, suggest corrections and confirm what stands, before the story is told publicly. The full, untouched recordings always remain available, with the key moments highlighted on their timeline.
